About The Event
The 2022 South Region Safety Engineer Roundtable meeting is taking place in-person in Atlanta, Georgia. The purpose of the roundtable is to provide an opportunity for States in the same region to discuss highway safety issues, concerns, and noteworthy practices with their peers.

Transportation to the Event
FHWA is offering invitational travel for two DOT safety personnel per State. FHWA’s contractor will be in touch to coordinate and support preparation of your travel arrangements.
Attendees can use MARTA to travel between the airport, the hotel, and the meeting location. The Arts Center MARTA station is the closest stop to the hotel and the meeting location. Attendees are encouraged to use MARTA for travel within the City.

FHWA’s contractor has reserved a block of rooms at the Canopy by Hilton, Atlanta Midtown for October 25th through the 27th. On the registration form, please indicate if you would like a room in the room block, and the contractor will make the arrangements for you. The hotel is located at 1414 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309.
Lodging must be booked by October 10th.
Additional hotel options are available nearby if you so choose, though attendees can only be compensated for the Federal Lodging per diem of $163/night.
